A great base for countryside walks, Scarfell, Great Gabel and Wastwater are all within reach. Coniston Water is a short 15-minute drive from the Bower.

The bar has low beamed ceilings and offers local ales and a mouth-watering afternoon tea service. The garden has fantastic views and free parking is available at Bower House.

The extensive breakfast and fine dinner menu use the finest of local ingredients and home grown herbs and vegetables. Menu favourites include Woodalls Pork and freshly caught Sea Bass.
