Bowness-on-Windermere, with regular boat trips across Lake Windermere, is less than a 10-minute drive from the Rayrigg. The M6 motorway is less than 30 minutes’ drive away.

A full English breakfast is served at the Rayrigg Villa Guest House, which includes local bacon and sausages. Smoked haddock, kippers and a selection of fruit is also available.
