The Marquess of Exeter

Set in Leicestershire countryside, in picturesque Lyddington, The Marquess of Exeter is a historic country inn with a traditional restaurant. The inn offers cosy log fires, leafy gardens and period features.

Just a 15-minute drive from Rutland Water, Marquess of Exeter is a 40-minute drive from the historical cities of Leicester and Peterborough. There is free on-site parking and the A1 road is a 20-minute drive away.

With a daily-changing menu, the restaurant serves fine British cuisine using fresh, seasonal produce. The bar features exposed beams and stone walls, and offers a range of cask ales, fine wines and cooked breakfasts.
